Taikoo Place is the leading mixed use business hub in Hong Kong. Working closely with the client we produced a film that tracked the development of this site from sugar refinery to cutting edge business destination. With the Opening of One Taikoo Place the film acted as a perfect touchpoint between the past and future and gave prospective clients a clear idea of Swire’s vision.
By studying the Swire archive, we were able to take images of the famous sugar truck and refinery before modelling it in CG.
Once the CG assets were modelled, we created a sequence which allowed us to transition from the past to the future vision of Taikoo Place.
We parallaxed a whole series of archive images
We composited the CG buildings of the unbuilt development and Live Action drone shoot to showcase what the finished development would look like.
